Autumn is one of our favorite seasons, as we get to enjoy the changing leaves, cooling temperatures, and pumpkin and maple flavors. It's also the time of year we begin to settle into our winter routines. However, there is a lot of fall home maintenance that needs to be done to prepare your home for the cold weather ahead.

- Clean Those Gutters And Downspouts
Falling leaves might make for a beautiful fall display, but they'll also clog your gutters and downspouts. Make sure to clean your gutters and downspouts regularly throughout the fall season to keep them clear. - Test Your Detectors
Your furnace gets quite a workout during the winter months, so you'll want to ensure you have functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in place in case something goes wrong. Test each detector and change the batteries if needed. - Do Some Lawn Maintenance
Fall is actually the best time to do lawn maintenance.
