Local cafes always have the best coffee, tea, and breakfast items. Here are the Local Island spots to frequent.

If you're like our real estate agents, your day can't really begin until you've had your favorite coffee drink. Whether it's a latte, espresso, or Americano, we've become highly dependent on our favorite independent Long Island cafes to serve us our caffeine in the morning. We'd choose a local independent cafe over a large coffee chain any day of the week.

Long Island's cafes provide a nice atmosphere where you can relax, read, work, or catch up with friends. They serve amazing coffee sourced from around the world and delicious healthy breakfast and lunch items. Many also display inspiring local art. If you're looking for a recommendation for a great place to grab a coffee on Long Island, here are five cafes we simply can't live without:

  • Georgio's Coffee Roasters - 1965 New Hwy, Farmingdale, NY 11735
This Farmingdale cafe brews some of the best coffee in town and is highly recommended for any local coffee enthusiasts. Georgio's Coffee Roasters sources beans from all over the world and serves them in this relaxing hangout spot. You can also purchase them online and have them shipped directly to you. If good local coffee is a priority for you, then you might be interested in these Farmingdale homes for sale.

  • The Witches Brew - 311 Hempstead Turnpike, West Hempstead, NY 11552
If you're looking for an atypical cafe experience, this is the place for you. The Witches Brew combines excellent coffee with a unique atmosphere. The cafe is located in an old house loaded with spooky decor. There is a huge selection of both coffees and teas. The cafe serves food and has an extensive healthy food menu with many vegan options.

  • Flux Coffee - 211 Main St, Farmingdale, NY 11735
One thing that really stands out about this Main Street Farmingdale cafe is the vibe. Flux Coffee has a brick-wall interior, warm lighting, and chill music, which make for an inviting atmosphere where it's easy to sit, relax, and hang out. The coffee is fantastic as well. Pastries and light food options are available if you'd like a bite to eat.

  • Morning Rose Cafe - 317 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710
In addition to your favorite coffee beverage, Morning Rose Cafe serves an excellent breakfast. It's incredibly popular, so be sure to get there early or make a reservation! Special breakfast entrees, Belgian Waffles, pancakes, and omelets are the highlights of the menu. It's a good place for a weekend brunch date, and it's conveniently located near our favorite Bellmore homes for sale.

  • Soul Brew - 556 N Country Rd, St James, NY 11780
Breakfast, lunch, and good coffee can be found at this hip coffee house. Soul Brew offers a variety of coffee and teas, flavored lattes, blended shakes, plus some really good breakfast items. We recommend The Cali Crunch: A breakfast Quesadilla with eggs, bacon, avocado, hash browns, and cheese. The interior is clean and comfortable, and the service is friendly.

Long Island's unique independent cafes and coffee shops are some of the best you'll find. Contact us today for more local business recommendations.
